Photo Tag

It's a game of tag in blogger land, and I'm it. I was tagged by Alex at Hope and Greyz.

The rules are as follows: Pick the 6th picture in your 6th photo folder and then give a brief description.



The picture is from 2001 when I bought my pride and joy at the time: a 2001 BMW 325i. My dad and I traveled to South Carolina to pick up the car at the BMW factory. Pictured is my father sitting in a very ugly, but very fast, BMW M Coupe. This car has 333hp and can move like lightening. We had to drive this car from the driving course to the main factory.

I remember our guide, who took the silver M Coupe in the background, had a lead foot. She peeled out of the parking lot leaving my dad and I behind. Now, keep in mind we're supposed to be following her and there is a public road she pulled out on to. BMWs are famous for their short throw transmissions, so my dad took a second or two to get this beast into gear. Once we did we hit 60 in about two seconds and quickly caught up to her.

It was a fun weekend, fully paid for by BMW. If you are ever in the market for one, make sure you ask about their performance delivery option. It's completely free and is a great time.
