Skiddy - skid-ee - adj. - tending to skid or cause skidding
Wigwam - wig-wom - noun - an American Indian dwelling, usually of rounded or oval shape, formed of poles overlaid with bark, mats, or skins.
Meet Skiddy Wigwam, our new foster. We welcomed her into our home last Tuesday and have been busy acclimating this little Princess ever since.
The first night was just like any other first night for a Greyhound. Lots of exploration, sniffing, pacing, confusion and extreme hunger. She's adjusted nicely and is about 95% housebroken. She's ready to be adopted!

Belle has taken quite a liking to having Skiddy around. They have been cuddle buddies since the first day Skiddy arrived. They've been partners in crime prancing around the house with their toys and frolicking in the back yard.

She's really been a loving snuggler since she arrived. She has a very sweet personality, and also very headstrong. She is very bright, and will make someone a happy hound owner.

Unfortunately for her, she arrived during some frigid cold temperatures here in central Virginia. Saturday morning I snapped a picture of the whopping 0.7F degree temperatures! Ouch!

But not to be outdone, Belle and Beau are still our little buddies who we love dearly. Beau likes to hide in his new comforter. He thinks it makes him invisible. Can you find him in this picture?

And Mrs. Belle, as cute as ever, sleeping with her tongue out of her mouth yet again. We surmise that she's dreaming about dog treats and rawhide bones.

Skiddy, may I call her Skiddy,(or is it Ms. Wigwam , after all, you did say she was headstrong:-) Either way, she is a beauty! I love the white blaze on her forehead.
How greyt is it, that Beau "color coordinates" with his new comforter?!
Stay Warm all.
Congrats on your foster...she's a beauty! I can't believe that Belle and Skiddy are already snuggle buddies. Our two have been living together for almost 7 months now and have yet to do that!
Oh...she is a doll!! She looks super sweet! I love the ones who love to cuddle.
I hope to one day add a brindle to our pack! =)
I love the fosters that just fit right into the family. They are also the hardest to give up. Sounds like a sweetie who will be scooped up pretty quickly.
oh man! I loved her when I saw her at Crittertown on Tuesday and now, seeing that picture of her snuggling makes me love her even more. There's just something about a snuggly hound that warms my heart and I so so so miss that cuddle-the-tushy scene here. Hoping Miss Skiddy finds her perfect snuggly home soon!
